Thine Own Self is officially cancelled.

The reason is simple. It's not getting worked on, it's an overdone subject tackled by many others more skilled than I, and has been finished by Canon. And with how old it is, it pretty much became the Duke Nukum Forever of stories.

The other in-progress story, Just A Problem, is still open, and I'll do what I can to give you 1 new chapter a month, starting in May. No promises.

Like, over a year.

But even though it's been a really long time since I put up a chapter for Thine Own Self, all you followers (if I have any left) will be happy to know that the story is being resurrected and will have a new chapter next weekend, February 25th. I just finished writing it, and it's in the "sit" phase, where I just let it sit for a few days before going back to edit it.

Also, I will be starting up another chapter of Just A Problem soon as well.

You know that update to Thine own self you've been waiting for since May? It's almost complete, and if all goes well, it should be up this weekend.

Also, I know that all of you have been patient concerning me and my stories, and I have some more (hopefully) good news. One of my New Year's resolutions is to write more often, so I hope that I stick to it, and you won't have to wait months for a new chapter.

Yep, I was able to finally get it written up and pretty much finished. I'm letting it sit Thursday, before I edit it on Friday and put it up Saturday. Then I'll get to the final chapter of The Immortal Question (though it may be a long chapter). After those two...well, keep plugging away at Thine Own Self, a story that got longer and more complicated than I originally thought.

If you read my last blog post, you're probably wondering why the chapter I promised isn't up last week like I said.

Well, I based the timetable on what usually happens. What actually happened is that I wrote a couple of pages and got stuck. Later, I looked at what I wrote, found I wasn't happy, and started over from scratch, getting stuck a second time. Then distractions and a full time job got in the way as well.

Anyways, I finally got a chapter going, and it should be ready at the end of the week if all goes well. I want to thank everyone for showing a large amount of patience with how slow this is going (I started it in April 2013, and only have 5 chapters), and I hope what's coming in the next few chapters will be worth the wait.

I know that I didn't give you the next chapter of Thine Own Self at New Years like I said, and I do apologize for that. It is still in the works, so I will have it out hopefully soon.

Buuuuuuuut, I do have another short story in the works, that I will probably need to get out before the end of season 4. It's a short 1-2 chapter story that will involve our favorite 4 alicorns, so you have another story of mine to keep an eye out for.
