It seems that I accidentally repeated last summer's hiatus.

Just a quick pit stop to say that I have still been writing and have added some time for it in my normal day-to-day schedule since starting a new job. This latest chapter will just take a little more time due to the context and characters for me to update and fail at what I was going for, but continue writing anyways.

Do you know what is annoying? Trying to write a magic show in a setting where a third of the population, including the performer themselves, are capable of performing real magic.

Going over some older chapters, I realized that I accidently wrote a plot scene twice. I have altered one and consolidated a bonus scene into a full chapter while lightly changing the order of the segments.

The changes can be seen in Returns, and I think it has been rectified. If any of you notice an issue, feel free to point it out and I will drop an edithammer on it.

Hello Everyone.

Taking a second before bed to let everyone know that I went back and changed some things in Enrollment and Introductions after realizing a mistake of mine. I'd originally planned to have a chapter go a different way but didn't end up writing it that direction, so I've pushed it back in the narrative to a more fitting spot. Now, none of the students will have seen the drawing of the dragon on the blackboard.

My isolation has ended and I'm now free from my exile to the shadow realm.

I'm a little sore from not moving around much for the two weeks and then immediately longboarding again, but other than that I just slept a lot and never had any real issues with my health, despite testing positive.

I know that I've been silent for a while now, but it's been a long, hectic summer. Writing has been a difficult thing to try and do lately, but I'm going to try getting back into it soon enough. I've had enough time to collect my thoughts and try to get around to being myself again.
