So, after reading a couple of Ben 10 fanfictions, I saw one where there was an alien that was scanned by the Omnitrix. The DNA was scanned from a lifeless arm that belonged to a symbiote host, and the Omnitrix scanned it into the database, giving the MC the ability to turn into a Venom-like alien without the negative side-effects of hosting a symbiote.
