Hey all, I know it's been a while since we've last seen Oynx, but I've got the next chapter completed, barring getting an editor to look at it. It clocks in being a little shorter than the other chapters, but it's the best place to end it, and the next chapter is already halfway written as well!

If things go well, it should be up sometime this weekend, or early next week!

I know I just posted a blog yesterday, but I just wanted to give a status update.

The next chapter is done, coming in around 3,700 words unedited. Currently I'm looking for a proofreader to help out before I post it. Already sent a DM to someone, but still kinda looking in case he turns me down. If anyone is interested, be sure to let me know.

The next chapter, "Damaged and Protected", will be out as soon as editing is done!

Sorry to leave you guys with only one chapter for so long, about a week after I had published the story school got super busy. Stupid busy even, and I didn't have much time to dedicate to writing.

However, now that my semester is done? I have lots of free time to write more chapters and continue Onyx's story, with the next chapter more or less half written so far!

Again, I'm sorry about the wait, but I'll be doing everything I can to make up for it over the summer!

Well, I can honestly say that didn't expect the response my story got during it's first week. To be completely honest, my only hope was that it didn't get downvoted into oblivion due to its genre.

Instead, it blew up, at least by my standards. I'm not going to go into the statistics, but I don't think I've ever had a story become this popular upon just posting it. It even hit the featured box and stayed there longer than I would have expected it to.
