I have great news.

I’m back in college.

Now, this may not seem like it’d be great as far as updates go, but I’ve actually found that a proper set schedule actually helps keep me on task, so this should only help me.

I can’t say I’ve made much progress on Sleepover. I’d love to blame it on life getting in the way and stuff, but in all honesty, I’ve just been getting distracted. Once you dive into the world of manga and anime, it’s real hard to pull yourself out.

In the next chapter, the inciting incident is Parody was building a hot tub in his basement, the chlorine tank ruptured, and flooded his house with chlorine gas, so now he’s looking for a place to stay for a couple nights.

Alright, finally finished the rough draft for the next chapter. It ended up being 21 pages long because apparently, I can’t do short things.

So now I can begin working on the actual chapter. I can’t give any estimate as to when it’ll be done, because the transfer from rough draft to final draft is inconsistent. Sometimes it’s one-to-one, like with dialogue, other times a single line in the rough draft is seven paragraphs in the final draft.

Quick update.

I’m for the most part finished with the notes/rough draft phase of the next chapter, Capes, and I’ll begin working on that shortly. It’s currently sitting at 15 pages of notes, so it probably won’t be another 10,000-word chapter like Catapult Fiasco, probably closer in length to Wake-Up Call part 2.
