So, in my story "Even in Darkness, Light Can Be Found", I made Night Mist an Alicorn in my most recent chapter. I am wondering, should I backtrack on that part, and keep him bat pony for a while?

I'd like to hear your opinions on the matter. I am working on another story at the moment, but I noticed a severe lack of comments in my most recent chapter of that story, so please, let me know what you guys think.
