Okay, so recently it was brought to my attention in my most recent story that I say alacorn instead of alicorn without ever explaining why. Well, long story short, alicorn translates from latin to "garlic horn". Alacorn translates to "wing horn". The only time I'll ever say alicorn is if I write a story where Luna or Twilight or somepony is a vampire slayer.
