Upon reviewing this story, I realized I didn't like how much of it was written. So, I've decided to rewrite the whole thing over again. Right now, I'm about a quarter of the way through, and I'll be posting the finished version all at once, so no discontinuities present themselves between the 'old' chapters and the 'new' ones. This is just a collection of short stories about the ending of New Family. It's meant to be pretty lighthearted, as opposed to the previous installments. Give it a read if you feel like laughing!

The story's all caught up with the new finale... I think. Could a few people please read over the earlier chapters, and see if anything contradictory to the show went unnoticed? I just want to make sure.

Also, you might want to re-read anyway - there's a few more interactions between Chrysalis and other characters that I thought actually turned out to be helpful to the story.

This is going to be a lot harder than I thought. I'm torn between just keeping continuity as is, thus making this an 'AU' fic, or actually going to the trouble of inventing an explanation. It'd be pretty hard to work the changelings' new role into the story, it's simply too major of a change. Even for the changelings.

Finals are looming ominously over my schedule, and I can't keep up the 3-chapters-a-week schedule for New Family and my exam schedule at the same time. Therefore, both of my stories are on hiatus for the time being. (Yes, the Unbinding can go on hiatus from a hiatus. Don't ask me how.)

This summer, though, I'll be able to dedicate a lot more of my time to writing and updating.
