I stalled out on it a while ago, but I've been inspired lately.
However, to accomplish what I have planned I've ended the story a few chapters early and am starting a second book where the next arc will take place.

I lost the flow and had to change my mindset and the feel of the story.

I know the plot was getting really really slow, but I took a page from my story The Fruit Falls and am going to make shorter chapters. The largest problem I had that dragged the story to a stop was that I was trying to fit all I could in the 2-4,000 word range.

That's too much for me right now with seven stories on my mind (as of Feb 2016).

Gonna be a great chapter of Mocha's story!

So, I've been having a writer's block, something fierce, so I'm doing something different that I was planning to do at a later time.

THEN I hope I'll get back to the main story.

So, a lot has been going on in my real life. I am an expert cook (chef, but not taking the title on paper or salary) and my writing has slacked over the past week.

The next chapter is under way, and is maaaybe 1/7 done. Total guess, but I'm shooting for 4500 words.

Then, I'll be back in the swing of writing. Uh, post American Thanksgiving, that is.

As an acting chef I have to work that day from 6am until 6pm, then do it again the following day.
