A Loud Headache once told The Squeaky Din that watching The Very Noisy Spider play games was like;

“Seeing a hive of bees inside a bee-keeper costume. You know it can’t hurt you, but it’s still scary because you know it didn’t get that way by itself, meaning there are weird people about and you don’t know what else they’ve done. Do you understand what I’m saying?”

There were things in Enigma’s mind that should never have existed. Abominations born from the vain hubris and venal lusts which had infested Enigma during his selfish and uncontrolled youth. They were really scary. When Enigma stopped feeding them they shrunk some; but they were still in there, lurking, and if those naughty ideas found Enigma’s babies then Enigma wasn’t sure what would happen.
