Title says it all. I've been working on a side story to Soldier of the Night over the past couple of months and I'm so excited to share it with you all once the first chapter is done. Hey guys, just a quick update re Soldier of the Night. I’m sorry I haven’t followed through with my promise to get the next chapter out, I’ve actually been taking some time off to focus on school and stuff like that and I’m happy to announce that I’m almost finished with my course.

Here’s to actually releasing chapter 42 in the coming weeks now that I’ll be on vacation after next Friday.

Hey everyone, just chiming in to say that I'm expecting my story to be completed at some point this summer if I keep working at it at my current pace—right now I'm looking at July to get everything completed but depending on how things pan out it could be sooner or later than that. We'll see.

As for chapter 42, I am expecting to have it up and ready for you all to read at some point these next few days so be sure to keep a look out for that.

I know I'm a little late on the bandwagon but I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone on this site a very Happy New Year, here's hoping that this year will treat us all even just a little better and we can all get out of this funk we've found ourselves in. Bring on 2021!

Currently listening to the soundtrack for the amazing film "Taxi Driver" (1976) while working on Chapter 42, not gonna spoil much but what I will say is that this is the chapter where the Vanhoover story arc will resolve itself. The soundtrack, I feel, perfectly reflects Storm's solitude in his new environment and offers me a glance into the mind of this character, even though he's about as far removed from Travis Bickle as anyone is really.

I'm more than honored to have Soldier of the Night featured in the Good OCs group, and I'm happy that people view Storm as such; I put my heart and soul into trying to make him as likable as possible, and words cannot express how happy I am to have him viewed so highly by members of the fanfiction community on this site. Thank you for making my day, whoever it was that submitted SoTN into the group. I know it was probably a while back now, but still, thank you.

Does anybody here serve in the armed forces, preferably in the Air Force, or at the very least know somebody that does? I need some insight into aspects of Air Force life for a side story to SoTN that I'm going to start writing soon.

After 10 or so weeks of work, I am proud to say that Chapter 36 is finally up and available for all you guys to read.

Stay tuned for chapter 37, which continues on directly from Chapter 36...and be warned; there's a plot twist coming.

All I have to say is that Chapter 36 is so far coming along smoothly and at the current rate, you can expect it up within this week, that, and it's my birthday today!

I have a question to ask you guys. What do you all think of Soldier of the Night so far? What's good about it? Is there anything that could have been done better? Is there anything you guys don't like about it?

I could write an entire article about why chapter 36 is taking so long to write but in order to keep this blog post as short as I possibly can, all I will say is that I'm still working on it. I don't have a definite release date for it, even though I initially intended to publish it weeks ago, but rest assured I am working on it; I haven't given up on SoTN at all, nor am I planning to.
