While the internet was up and behaving, GDocs resolved the DNS issues it seemed to be having and then unfucked itself. I gained back both versions of the chapter I lost and everything seems to be sorting itself out now, as Google services are once again available. I don't know why I doubted Google... but I am very, very relieved. Right now, I am sorting out the words that I have, trying to take the best from both, but my internet keeps dropping, so the process is slow.

Earlier today, I had about 1200 words done on WWTWTY. (See story tagged to this blog post) The internet derped and then GDocs also derped. When the internet finally started to work again, I had a DNS error, (FUN!) and then, miracles of miracles, when GDocs decided to synch up the offline document and the newly connected document, I suddenly had a document with zero, count them, zero words.

I cursed a bit, but not too much, because Scarheart was sleeping.
