After four years of on-and-off writing, anticipating, and trying to act all clever (when I really wasn't), After is finally completed!

Over time, I'll be rewriting bits and pieces here and there, as well as removing unnecessary tension and storylines that went nowhere, but if you came for the rainbow pone, she be here!

I feel like it's a waste of space to make a blog post just to say a story's been updated, but hell, in case people haven't seen it or were notified, it helps. :P

But yeah, new chapter is up! 4000+ words. :)

Okay, so I gave it some thought and finally decided the whole Fluttershy scene in After was completely unnecessary and way too out of character, even for a drunk version of her. So that's been taken out. Now she's just silly and drunk instead of... the other thing.

I mean, no point in really taking up a blog just to make this statement, but it's to show I'm not dead.

I plan to finish and put out a new chapter today (Sunday), so yee!

Oops.

Long story short: SCHOOL. Depending on the subject, it's fun, but... SCHOOL.

This is the third and final act of After. I've come to the decision that I'm just going to update this story at my own pace, because if I try to write the whole thing at once, I'm going to burn myself out again, and I really don't want to do that again.

After (hue) this chapter, there will probably be about between 8-10 more chapters left, then the story will finish! Hopefully it's not too cheesy or overly dramatic like it used to be.

I either want to finish a whole story and post the thing weekly, post the whole thing all at once, or just write a chapter every once in a while and go at my own pace while allowing people to read it, like everybody else has done.

It's led to me being completely backed up on a bunch of stories and not having any general idea which one to work on. Then again, I'd have that problem either way.

A while back, I said I was going to retcon my stories Regret and After so a particular character and storyline don't occur for many reasons, the main reason being because it's a pointless addition to the story and serves no purpose in it. Maybe I'll finish it as it is on Fanfiction.net, but here on FIMfic, it will be what its original plot was meant to be: a romantic tragedy.

No, I'm not cancelling it or anything, but After is now on Haitus. I planned this a year or so ago. I have the whole story saved on my PC as an HTML as it is right now, and I plan to do more with it, but on Fanfiction. Here on FIMfiction, Swift's story will be taken out and the story will be shortened and some events retconned, such as the explosions in Manehattan and Fillydelphia. It was initially cool in my head, but seeing it now is just dumb, at least when it comes to what I was originally

Working on After. I'm going to switch from 2nd person to 1st person. I know people will not like it, but I've worked with those perspectives for so damn long, it's hard to let go of them, you know? But hey, I'm also coloring the first sentence depending on who's speaking. Saves up a lot of time and makes it less bothersome than writing "PERSPECTIVE OF TWOLOT SPRINKLE ;3".

It's been a while since the last chapter. And with the disappointment of State of Decay 2 not coming out for another year, I decided to just finish writing the next chapter to ignore the other thing. :P

I'll try and finish it as quick as I can. :)

About three hours ago, we got hit from behind. Luckily, the tire on the back seemed to absorb the general impact. I'm good, just a slightly scraped knee. lol

I think that's the first car accident I've been in. Strange. Glad it wasn't any worse, being on a highway with hundreds of cars and giant trucks speeding past you.

Made a new chapter over the weekend, wanted to experiment with the speed of the story. So far, I think it's doing good.

I should really stop making blog posts for updates and releases minutes apart. Oh well. :P

Hopefully you guys will enjoy it! Hopefully it isn't too rushed either!

May be noon, may be later. But I want to get one out today. I also want to try and make a chapter during Easter break and push it out next Sunday.

This chapter speeds things up a bit, but hopefully not too much. I want to try and plan to finish Act 2 on chapter 12 (which, after the retcon, could be a lower number :D).
