I of course am referring to the August 25th, 2001 plane crash that took the lives of R&B/Pop singer Aaliyah as well as 8 other people on board (the pilot included). Today it's been 20 years since I heard on the radio that she's passed away. I know I was super sad about this, yet barely a close to two weeks later would be way worse for the world.
