Alright, so...the recap chapter is going to be longer than 10,000 words.
Hah! Okay, I'm just going to link this picture directly, because the moment it describes is worth reading. Reader Saxopi (who has an absolutely fantastic way of capturing the characters) really did a blow out job with this pic. Heh! It's been forever since we got new fan art! I was wondering if I was gonna get anymore!

I want to personally thank Racoon for adding the italicized section to the latest chapter of the story. I barely noticed until after I'd been working on another section for a solid five minutes today.
I'm afraid I'm going to have to mail him a live baboon with a methamphetamine addiction and rabies.
What a couple of weeks! I know that last chapter was...a bit exhausting, but hopefully this one is a little lighter.
There's some good giggles and some good cuddles and a few fun lines. It's going to the editors to begin 'The Process' and will be posted this weekend.
A favorite line of mine from this one:
"It wouldn’t be an apocalypse without a bureaucracy somewhere. When the fires are out, you need someone to count the ashes.”

Alright, my sweet droogs! The second half of Truth and Justice is finished. The writing is complete and it's going to the editors.
I want to thank you guys for your patience with this. I know three weeks is a long time for a chapter and it reeeally sucks when we're stuck with a longer writing cycle.
That said, I have done my damndest with it to get it good.
My sweets, I have to admit a thing.
This chapter is playing absolute havoc with my writing abilities.
I realize switching into third person shouldn't seem like that much of a big deal, but I've had a complete and total bastard doing it with this chapter.
I'm down to about 500 words a day, from my usual 1000. I realize there are writers out there who pound out 5000 words a day, but I'm not anywhere near capable of that. I admire those who are, but I'm not.
Hokay ladies and gentlecolts, we're in for a rough ride!
Chapter 81 is finished, but I haven't written a Scholar's Note for it just yet. Heck, if you guys have some suggestions of topics that haven't been covered yet, it would be much appreciated.
The general rule for a Scholar's Note is that it should be something that relates to the chapter itself, but if you have any ideas then I just want to hear them.
Alright, we're going to TRY to get Starlight out on time this week, but the truth is...I'm 3000 words behind. Now, that isn't a CRIPPLING amount, but it is a fair bit. I should be done with this chapter today, not 6k and no Scholar's Note.
So, my grandmother's death messed with me. I don't know. We weren't close, but it hurt.
Well...fudge puppies.
I got up this morning and turned on my machine. It let out a ferocious 'clickity click' noise and...little else. I leaned in and the sound turned out to be coming from...my hard drive. It was my reader heads jamming on the drive plate. For those not versed in computer speak, this is the sound of death. It is the sound of God taking time out of his busy day to shit in your life.
Act 2 is done and I'm now hammering on the beginning of Act 3. This is giving me a bit of time to get ahead of things and I will do my best to make it as good as it can be.
There's an awful lot of story left to tell and we'll get it done! The new editing team is working out magnificently.

Now, to Act 3. Hopefully Act 3 will be the final act of Starlight Over Detrot.
Sweet Celestia, I hope so...
Anyway, Kasen is still working as a consultant on the story and yours truly is doing the grunt work. I'm going to take about a three week break and try to get *somewhat* ahead of things.
