To Update The Record Collection · 12:41pm Sep 8th, 2016

Hello there.

Yesterday, I went to PDQ Records off Grant Road in my area once again and picked up another few vinyls. Even though I've increasingly gone back go buying VHS tapes (and in fact had a couple on my mind at the time) I never really gave up on collecting vinyl records.

And so I bought 2 LPs and 3 45s, two of which are EPs and one of which is a hit single from the past. Click the little green button to get started!

THIS. IS. SICK. · 9:48pm Nov 6th, 2016

Me and my YouTube buddies can solemnly agree that this video is UNBELIEVABLY mean-spirited and horrific. I have reported it for bullying; literally everything in it constitutes as such.

Arista album discography: Early CD era. · 5:31pm Oct 17th, 2016

Arista got into making CDs relatively early, beginning to do so in 1983. Their first CD, Side Kick by the Thompson Twins, was carried from its LP counterpart Quick Step & Side Kick (in fact many of their earliest CDs were carried over from vinyl). The earliest CDs from Arista, much like their earliest albums, were reissues of previously released product.

Messy Library · 11:26pm Sep 21st, 2016

Welcome to Cochrane, Ontario, Canada, where a man named Dylan Dubeault has paid a visit to his local library to hunt down some VHS tapes and DVDs. Needless to say, he isn't impressed with the selection of tapes that the library has to offer nor is he at all pleased with the condition of a certain DVD disc. He decides that he should check out some books instead.

Cassette Adventures! · 4:05pm Sep 4th, 2016

You have found a shell containing a Scotch C-90 cassette tape cover. As you find out, it bears NO resemblance to the actual product. Things get really frustrating from there. Originally, it was a pre-recorded, mass-manufactured tape; turns out somebody took some masking tape, placed it over the record holes, and proceeded to tape over the original content. The tape (after you hold it up to the light) shows that someone taped over a cassette teaching Spanish. And a search all across the

OPENED UP: The Golden Hits of the Smothers Brothers, Vol. 2, which I believe dates to 1967 or '68 (#21069). This is a compilation of various sketches the brothers did. They had a big variety show at this point (which stemmed from their commitment to CBS after a TV sitcom with the Brothers failed. Comes in a see-through sleeve that has "Record #1 one" written on it helpfully.

RCA UK Album Discography: 27000 series (1) · 3:38pm Oct 6th, 2016

RCA is a company worthy of salutations, for it invented the 45 RPM record in 1949. The roots of the company lie in the formation of the Consolidated Talking Machine Company, of Philadelphia, Pa., by Eldridge R. Johnson. To begin with, Johnson issued records on his 'Improved Gram-O-Phone Record' label. After a court battle with a rival, from which he emerged successful, he incorporated the company as 'Victor'; this was in 1901. He joined forces with Emile Berliner, and in 1902 their new Victor
