I'm like...so damn close to being done with the chapter, but I've had so much shit go down lately, that it's drained all my energy to write. Not going to waste time in detail, and I know the chapter is SUPER late so I appreciate your patience!

Almost done with the next chapter. Sorry it's super late, life kinda grabbed me by the nads and threw me in cement.

We had a new system deployed at work and it's super infuriating. They've also asked us to pull tons of extra shifts so haven't had time to write. My bad!

So after the arthritis in my lower back flared up after pulling 3 12 hour shifts in a row at work, I've been borderline bedridden for the last week. Was supposed to have a four day weekend, but spent it all in bed. Luckily though, I'm feeling tons better!

There was like...several words missing in chapter 37. I was actually shocked how it happened without me every noticing.

Made like...there was a brick of dialogue, split it in half. That was it haha!

The combat in chapter 35 was...well there were a few minor changes to make. This one was less on combat and more on consequences though.

Didn't change much in chapter 36. A few typos, changed some wording is all.

Chapter 33:
I spruced up the descriptions some, and changed some wording. A lot of it sounded unclear and awkward so it should flow better now.

Chapter 34:
There were a decent amount of typos and I was rather shocked. They were all technically words, so it might explain why spellcheck didn't catch them. Same deal as before, some descriptions were kind of unclear, and I added in some extra imagery.

It's done! Finally! I really pushed my writing limits on this chapter! I was describing things with words that are...normally purely visual and auditory. It's new ground for me and I hope it flows well. I'm absolutely exhausted and disappointed it took me so long to get it out. That being said, it was fun and I hope you all enjoy it! Thanks again for your patience! Gonna do some more editing on a few older chapters now, so it will be nice taking a small break from new content.

Don't worry, still working on it. I'm just having issues describing the dancing. I'm waiting for a few prereaders to get back to me on whether it makes sense or not. I've never done this before and trying to explain what someone is doing without being repetitive is a nightmare. Thanks again for your patience!

AAAGGGHHH! I've never tried to describe people doing choreographed dances before. Describing the beat of a drum and fire twirling, I just...uuuggghhh. I already wrote everything in the chapter that isn't dance/music related and it feels like I just have this massive hurdle.

Okay so my ending plot points are just...super messed up and I have to fix them. There's a lot of " Situation A needs to happen so person B can save person A, but person B can't get there until situation B and AAAAAAAHHHHH!
I thought I had resolved this, but when I started writing the chapter, I realized there's a few vital details I missed and changing ONE changes like three others so I'm taking time to figure it out.

So I've had a lot of stuff go down recently. My roommates and I are putting up a friend who's fleeing an abusive relationship and it's ...well a bit taxing. since she doesn't have a car. I'm working on the next chapter, but I've hit a snag, mostly due to having no idea how to "write" music. Like how do I describe an entire song, even if it's just drums? Well anyways, next chapter might be a bit late. Thanks for your patience!

So out of curiosity, I've had a lot of upvotes lately (a lot for me that is ) and out of curiosity, if you've upvoted it recently, how did you hear about the story?

Last two days my insomnia has been ruining everything. I'll get tired, sleep for a rough four hours, with waking up every 30 minutes for no reason. Then I'll need to get up and do something because life doesn't stop for me, then not sleep until next time while being drained all day. I'm trying to work my second delivery job, but I've seen so tired that driving is risky.

Didn't see much in the way of editing. This chapter still feels a tad messy for me, so maybe I'll come back to it.

Alright, there. Spruced up some descriptions and explained some more stuff. I'm in this middle ground of wanting to explain Taraskan protocol, and not wanting to bore most of you with ideas that you won't care about.

I haven't reread chapters 30-40 in a looong time. It feels so weird cause there's scenes I completely forgot about so in a way it's like reading my on book for the first time. I wonder how it would feel to have amnesia then getting to read your own books. Anyways, besides weird formatting and some sentences that could use sprucing up, didn't find much in the way of editing. Man Linkin Park really helps with editing these more emotional chapters.

So in this one, some of my chapters are formatted weird cause around this time, fimfic was having issues with uploading a doc from google docs and copypaste got weird too. Didn't see much that needed changing, but I spruced up the formatting.

I thought it would take me longer to edit this, being 6k words long, but it was rather easy. No major edits. A few clumsy worded sentences here and there. Found like...one typo. Otherwise besides the repeated uses of "I did this" and "I did that" I'm rather happy with this chapter.
