The new chapter is almost finished and should be the longest one yet. Not going to say much but lots of big things are going to happen. Expect the new chapter by Saturday night.
This is the quickest way to send out the message. As I type this I fear water levels continue to rise along the Mississippi River and among the areas threatened with the potential of flooding is the Missouri Wing of the Commemorative Air Force. Anyone who reads my blog posts knows the Missouri Wing is something very dear to me. That is why I am writing this message. I am asking that should the flood waters rise to a level requiring the museum be evacuated, there be more helping hands. This is
I was watching a documentary on the sinking of the HMHS Britannic which included stories of survivors of the sinking. This got the somewhat rusty wheels in my head turning. In The Jolly Rogers the RNS Equestria is based off the Britannic but was sunk by a torpedo like the Lusitania. But my thought is, what if I wrote a story that focused on the story of a survivor of the sinking of the Equestria? Would any of you read it if I actually wrote such a story? I like writing and I pretty much
Greetings everybody. I am proud to announce that a "radio broadcast" from my story's Equestrian Broadcasting Corporation is confirmed and being planned as I type this. The broadcast will feature 1930s & 40s music, Equestrian National News, as well as "appearances" by Glenn Miller, Sabre, and other characters who will later be announced. Anyone who may be interested in getting involved with the broadcast should PM me. Thank you for reading.
Signing off,
Little reference to a future chapter there. Anyways, if any of you saw my last blog post last week you'd know I was going through a bit of a problem. Turned out I had kidney stones. At 17. Kidney stones, my hair turning grey, forgetting things, and aching joints. I'm too young to be old. I'm now done "pissing pebbles" as my dad so eloquently put it. This means I'm not in as much pain (just general aches and pains at this point actually) so I can begin work on chapter 29. Fingers crossed
So this morning before school I got an extremely bad headache on the left side of my head and then the right side of my face went numb. This is just one in a string of events that I fear might kill me if I don't take a couple days off from everything. This means no writing for those days but I'll still be on FIMFiction on my phone so any messages will be seen and answered as soon as possible.

Well, soonish. I'm still working on chapter 28 where I will introduce the first two or three new characters since Patton & Rommel. All of them will be flag officers specializing in different areas like surprise tactics or inside knowledge on the workings of the SS. There will also be more ground and airborne units, fighter groups, and human pilots appearing in later chapters (hint: Glamourous Glen III). Also, because I've got to thinking, I find lack of animated films in the story
This tagged with The Jolly Rogers to get word to more people. So earlier I finished watching a live-action Indiana Jones/Daring Doo crossover and I had an idea that I am currently discussing with some people I know. The Wonderbolts (and possibly the Mane 6,) somehow get pulled into 1944 Earth where they land in Missouri across the river from Alton, Illinois. They then come across a somewhat guarded military airfield (the guards are either asleep or don't pay much attention) and
I decided on the surrender dates for the "axis" nations in The Jolly Rogers so you all know how long I plan on the story continuing.
•North Ponia: December 28, 1987
•Camelu: April 3, 1988
•Zebrica: September 19, 1988
•Griffin Empire: May 7, 1989
•Changeling Empire: July 12, 1989
I'm also looking for battles that any of you would like to see in the story. Whether they're ones you make up yourselfs, or just Equestrian versions of battles from WWI-Vietnam is up to you folks.
So I've got a bit over three thousand words typed for the next chapter of The Jolly Rogers and with each chapter it's getting closer to Thunderstreak's due date. So here's the job for all you readers. Because I'm a busy bastard with school and occasional work I haven't had time to come up with baby names. I've already decided on the twins being a filly and a colt so that should help. Comment names you'd think would be good and I'll announce who's are picked.
The leader of the Missouri Wing of the Commemorative Air Force has presented me with the task of finding an insignia for the cadets in the wing. Normally I would make one myself but I'm too busy studying for tests to do so. Which is where you talented people come in. We need a military style insignia to be the symbol that represents us as members of the Missouri Wing. Following is information that may help:
• wing based at Smartt NAS
• units represented at wing are VT-87 and the 501 BS
I'm thinking of giving up on writing. Maybe on everything. Who knows? Writing is like my therapy. Bad day? Write. Feeling completely worthless? Write. Maybe someone will like it. I'm going on three weeks without being able to write. And I'm feeling totally useless. Writing is the only thing I'm somewhat good at. Without it I have no purpose.
Good news is I start my new school tomorrow. The entire junior class is as large as my old English III class so I'll be getting more help than before. With this new school come the perks of free lunch, only 150 students in the whole school, and a laptop for school work which I'll be able to write on in the future.
When I was a kid, Illinois winters were great. Now it's just a pain in my ass as I lay in bed trying to sleep with a plugged up nose and possibly strep throat. Today alone it went from snowing at 7 a.m., to raining at noon, and now back to snow for tonight. Good news is I managed to get some more writing done today and nearly finished the new chapter of The Jolly Rogers.
To save myself the typing I'll just tell you all now that my mom kicked me out Thursday night. She dropped me on my dad's doorstep with just the clothes on my back, my school bag, and what I could smuggle in my U.S. Navy bag (my laptop was not one of those items). Thankfully I have every chapter of The Jolly Rogers (what I have on chapter 27 included) as well as the small bit I have of Singin' in the Rain on my flash drive which I always carry with me. So thankfully I have all my
Lately I've had this nagging feeling every time I'm working on chapter 26 that it's not worth my time. I love writing and I love whenever some comments that they liked a chapter, but if feels like I don't have as many readers as I used to. As though I only have a handful of people who still bother reading it when I release a new chapter. Is there something or someone that you readers want to see in my story? Some way I can improve it?
Because it keeps saying "invalid image" here's the link for the cover art of a new story I'm working on.
