Just a note that I'm heading out of town to my dad's place for a few days. No writing will be done during that span since my dad is a vehement brony hater and I'm not letting that cat out of the bag while I'm there. Still, I'm almost done with the chapter though so if things go well it should be out on Saturday, local time.

I'm stuck on phase two of my training chapter. Action isn't really my forte you see. Hell, can I really say that anything is my forte? Oh well, I wanted to get this chapter out by today. Why? Well, I turn thirty today and I wanted people to know by posting a chapter with something about that in it. It's just me being kind of vain is all. Back to work I guess.

I ain't dead. I'm just slow as hell. Progress is slow and the part of my brain that houses my overactive imagination is telling me to start another story. I've been giving it the middle finger and telling it that I want to finish this story first. It keeps fighting back to say that it's a cool idea about a DC/Attack on Titan crossover that uses an underdeveloped Lantern Corps. Progress on the latest chapter is slow, but happening. Just like I thought, it's actually harder for me to concentrate at home than at work. Because of this issue I have to lose my set timetable for updates. Don't think I'm not working on it. Unless I get sidetracked, then you can think that. I like this story and I want to finish it. It's just that like all things in life doing something worthwhile takes time, effort, and focus. I just have trouble with all three of those things sometimes.

Still working on this chapter, but if you got a ping about my story updating with another chapter, well that's just me being an idiot and missing the edit button while hitting the publish button by mistake. I blame the lack of sleep from this weekend.

I think what I'm going to do is wrap around from last Thursday and release the next chapter on this coming Monday. I say that since I have only managed to type out about 700 words on this chapter. So, unless you want a weird little maybe 800 word chapter, it'll be next week.

I'm really not sure I'm going to have this out today. I'm currently at 1500 words and unless I can get a typing storm going it's going to be later in the week. Which could mean anywhere from Tuesday through Friday. If it gets past Friday I might as well wait until next week and see if it needs some polish.
