I did it, ladies and gents.

It took some financial help from my family, a trip to the Goodwill Thrift Store, a stop at the public library, and a wacky car chase, but I finally got a job.

Training starts on the 23rd at a decent time of day, so I should still be able to put out at least one chapter of one of my stories per day on work days.

Would've nailed the job if I could drive. Unfortunately I'm legally unable to due to my crappy eyesight so the interview was a bust. I have another interview tomorrow, but my bus pass expires today and it's way too far to walk... and I'm broke.

Well back to the online job listings I guess.

Tomorrow's chapter is gonna be late cause I got another interview at another place in the morning. Last guys never called me back and the other jobs I've applied to hvll been way too far from where I live to be feasible.

I know what I want to do for this chapter, but I'm having some trouble writing some specific characters I want to introduce. I want to make sure I get them right, so I'm taking a bit of extra time to write the chapter.

In the interest of keeping things consistent I've made a small revision to the chapter mentioned above. There was some debate between me and a reader as to whether the section regarding the phone was a good idea or would cause problems with the story in the long run.

The title of the blog basically says it all.

They told they'll get back to me for another interview, and since I'm taking that with a grain of salt, I've already called another recruiter who had emailed me to set up another interview.

So now I wait.

In the meantime I'm just gonna work on the next chapter of TTtB and Sparkle because screw it, my roommate's at work (and therefore not playing Fortnite - for once) and I've got nothing better to do for the moment.

So here's the deal...

Got fired from my job last week, put in some applications got called in for an interview today. Thing is, the dude was just an intermediary and I have the real interview tomorrow.

I'll try to post something before I leave tomorrow, but I may not finish until later that day. On top of that, if things go well and I do end up getting the job, I may not be able to post as often as I'd like.

I'm not gonna have access to a desktop for most of the day so the next chapter may not come out until tomorrow. I'll still be on the site if anyone has any questions, it'll just be from my phone.

Apparently I need to watch where the arrow on my screen is when I click something because I hit the publish button without realizing it and some of you "lucky" readers got a sneak peek at the new chapter before it was finished.

So it's come to my attention that the recent chapter may have been less than satisfactory for some of you, and I know I can do better. In light of this, I've decided to revise the chapter and expand on the events.

This is going to require a lot of writing on my part to bring it to my own personal standards so I'll leave the current chapter up until I'm ready to post the first revised chapter. Knowing me it'll probably turn into multiple chapters so be prepared for that.

So I know what I want to do for the next chapter, but it's turning out to be a bit trickier than I expected. It's also turning out a bit longer than I expected, so I'm going to be splitting the chapter in two and working on both.

I've decided to release both chapters tomorrow rather than one half today and one half tomorrow. So unfortunately there won't be a chapter out today.

Welp. I've finished my second story on the site.

Anyway, because I was focusing on finishing up TVoH I wasn't able to get another chapter of The Ties that Bind out today.

Fortunately I have the day off tomorrow so to make it up to you guys, I'll be putting out two chapters.

I'm also finally getting back to Sparkle almost full time.

That is all.

This story's gonna be a bit different in regards to tone (at least I'm gonna try to make it that way). It'll still have that dark edge that my other stories do, but to me at least, this one feels a little more... wholesome?

I don't know, I just felt all warm and fuzzy inside while I was writing it and that's something I want to convey. The story is ultimately going to be about growing up and growing close to the ones you spend time with.
