So I got to thinking while writing chapter 31 of I Burn "How would Yang have reacted to appearing at Canterlot Castle?". Then I decided to actually write it out. Well, start to write it out. I'm almost done with chapter 31, and that comes first.

Chapter 32 will see Yang getting an expansion to her arsenal. It's going to be an immediately useful expansion as well. Points to whoever guesses what this little expansion is.

I Burn's next chapter will be up within a fortnight. If you don't know what a fortnight is, then just look it up.

The next chapter is the awaited confrontation with Tirek, and it will get a bit messy. There will be mild gore and blood. Nothing like this, at least.

Not literally, thank goodness. That would hurt, and I don't want to live on the crispy side of life.

I've found myself getting lots of words down for chapter 16 of I Burn, so that's cool. Once it's done, I'll post chapter 15, start work on 17, and then 16 will be posted soon after. At least, that's the plan.

Now for a somewhat relevant picture.

At present, I Burn's next chapters are making very little progress because it's the holiday season and work is picking up, so the energy to work on it is fleeting.

In the meantime, you should go read this. I am a contributor to it, and I've written some things for it, like a four way fight. The writing is a little clunky, but the story is there and it's good.

After I posted I Burn, I slept. After waking up refreshed, I refreshed my page and saw that I had 23 notifications. Five were comments, two were new watchers, and the remaining sixteen were bookshelf placements by fourteen people. One person added it to three shelves. You know who you are, and I'm not going to do anything about it aside from stating my observation of its occurrence.
