Golden Oakes Library
Basement
Dan couldn't help but notice that Rals' footsteps didn't make much noise. Hardly any noise at all, really, as the two walked down the stairs to the basement. A bit hastily constructed out of necessity, the stairs to the basement of the library were made from leftover wood from the renovations, meaning they creaked a lot. Dan had built them himself, so they were sturdy, if a bit unrefined. They creaked with every step he took on them. Not when Rals did.
