in the apocalypse, many food items we all love to eat are going to be really hard to get or make or never to be eaten again.

one thing am going to miss the most is chicken nuggets and cheese.

a burger is easy to make once you stop and think about it, the hard part is getting all of it in one area to make it.

chicken nuggets are going to be nothing like the store ones at all.

Cheese is really hard to make at times if you don't have the right gear to make it

Once all of the local stores have been scavenged out, you're hosed.
Any processed food is history.

No chocolate or bacon.

Making a burger is going to be hard because, someone has to raise and kill a cow.
Raising cows takes time and resources. Oh yeah, you need to know the right places to get the right meat for burgers.

Making bread requires flour, someone has to plant and raise wheat.
Also mill it fine for bread.

And someone has to be able to make bread.

Cheese is made from milk and you need cows.
Also knowledge of the right bacteria to make cheese and a place to do it.

This also depends on the nature of the apocalypse.

Nuclear war would be the worst since most of the population is in cities and they get nuked.
Which means that most knowledge would be lost. Folks would either have to depend on their own knowledge or use others.

An apocalypse that just kills a lot of people but keeps buildings intact, ie: a pandemic would be a better scenario.
Folks can still learn how to do things from scratch.

You're looking at locally grown food.
Really locally. Probably as far as someone could walk unless that person has a horse.
