Fluttershy
Now more plant than pony she lives as the immortal druid of the ancients of Equestria. She is in essence mother nature herself and so lives in all plant life. So long as nature exists Fluttershy is everlasting. She has the ability to command plants at her disposal and able to teleport between different parts of foliage within the battlefield. As well as gaining the ability to tame the otherwise wild beasts of nature to act organized and precise. Although the result may be a lessening of their ferociousness they are however able to act with great efficiency as opposed to the hope that their fury goes into something productive. Her magic is primarily defensive and tend to lead her forces as such, hiding them in her forest for ambushes or even avoiding combat altogether forcing enemies out of the forest of making them wander, lost forever.

Rainbow Dash
As the greatest living flier in all of Equestrian history the loss and death of Rainbow dash was a dire loss to the imperial cause. Thanks to the great research and experimentation of the great Scholar Mage Twilight Sparkle Rainbow Dash is returned to them in the form of an artificially created being called a Poniculus (homunculus). Now infused with the magic of the sun she is a shining beacon to the imperial forces with the power to bring the light of day to the lands of the Lunar republic (if only for awhile). Her trademark sonic rainboom wields the power to burst the area with the blessings of the goddess helping unicorns cast their spells even in the darkness of eternal night. As well as effectively immobilising enemy troops in their tracks. However she does not wonder far from the border of the empire as she requires Twilight to maintain her.

Twilight sparkle the great and powerful
Using her great magical ability she is able to sustain youth and vitality in her old age through utilising the light of the sun and it's magic. In fact she was the first to discover and research this style of magic and the founder of modern day imperial warfare. Her magic is said to be the greatest in the land second only to Celestia herself. In battle she is constantly guarded by Shining Armour's protection spell long after the demise of the caster.As such she is near invincible in battle and able to cast every kind of spell used by the imperial army with twice the effect. However when swathed in darkness her body ages and known to deteriorate until she eventually dies. As a result she will never go into Lunar lands. Despite her motivation to kill the enemies of Celestia and the murderers of her brother and trapped his soul in a sapphire she guards with her life and in turn guards her.

Pinkie Pie
Pinkie much like Fluttershy has long since ceased being a pony by any normal definition. By her great deeds in the name of perfect chaos. Discord has given her many gifts, the wings of an eagle, the heart of a lion, the feathers of a hawk. As a hippogriff, a creature that defies definition, logic and possibility she is seen onto all in the cult of Discord as the goddess that is the highest of the high next only to Discord himself. Some even whisper that some descendants within the cult are borne from their courtship. As such those born with pink fur, curly mane or party related cutie marks bare her blessing and genes. In battle Pinkie pie carries with her her party canon that vomits forth "friends" from the many hells of Discord. as well as the ability to warp the enviroment to the her chaotic nonsensical whim. Including the very dangerous ability to change day or night at random or the changing of weather conditions.

She is the stuff of nightmares haunting all of Equestria with visions of her madness and corrupting power. Often times making whole settlements vanish or kidnapping foals from their sleep or cursing families to birth pink demon foals. Many normal and innocent pinks foals are killed everyday for fear of this superstitious figure that has wormed its way into Equestrian mythology.

Spike the dragon
As the great Elder dragons begin to wane in number Spike has become the mediator between pony kind and nature. Being the only one to hold faith that the ponies that wished to join the cause of nature were true and pure of heart. He will rarely go to war however and will never let himself fight against the Solar empire due to her loyalty to Twilight Sparkle. Now residing in the unsettled ruins of the old capital (inside the Everfree), Spike will only go to war in defence of the town. He is still in constant contact with Twilight through letters sent to him to belch out.

Trixie the 69th
As queen Luna's personal court magician like all Trixie's before her she is the greatest magician of all the land. Headmistress of the school of magic she teaches unicorns to wield illusionist magic in support of the troops at war. As such all magicians in battle of the Lunar republic constantly veil themselves in a cloaking mist of the moon and stars. Rendering themselves and all troops within influence immune to the magic of the sun (not so much against elemental magic however), as well as multiplying their numbers in illusion, conjuring constellational summons (like the ursa minor). Trixie however holds greater abilities than that as she is able to create and multiply troops at will (illusion), cloak units in the battlefield invisible instead of in night and able to summon several constellations at the same time (even those as difficult to summon as ursa majors).

She is cursed with the memories of the 68 other Trixies with the original Trixie fighting for dominance of her mind. Or so she thinks. She is a being born without love. The Trixie name being a title of fear as well as respect, no one wanted to court with the previous Trixie and be attached to their tragic fate. As such her mother exchanged all of her love so that she could birth a child with a changeling, her only given choice. Trixie has a constant battle in finding her true self and to end her destiny so that her own daughter would never know the horrors of war.

To battle her madness she created a second person of herself called "Photon finish", a colt who is a delinquent of the capital pulling minor crimes against the changeling empire who are directly (tho covertly) affiliated with the republic council. As such for crimes of hindering various attempts to kidnap ponies from the city, Photon finish is wanted by the republican guard for treason.

Gala snaps
When the Apple family fled from the war they seeked refuge inside the Everfree forest. As Fluttershy as their leader, they appointed themselves the guardians of her and her domain. This soon gave birth to the eventual joining of the Apple family with Fluttershy. Making a branch of Apple family direct descendants of the spirit of nature. There are indeed some Apples existing but as the only true pony with the power to protect the forest Gala snaps was the last of the true guardians. The others being lost to the resulting skirmishes that the war forced the Everfree to partake in.

Imbued with the blood of Fluttershy, Gala snaps has enhanced power over nature that is merely the amplification of an earth's pony's ability to nurture. But his main trait is his Apple family strength and the power of the zap apples that render his body perpetually electrified. He can use the magic of the zap apples to send signals though the earth to Fluttershy so that she can better command her forces. Acting primarily as a scout, he tends to observe primarily. Letting only his sense of fairness being a reason to intervene. Often times switching back and forth sides to make even playing grounds or even working in the background to make outcomes even. A truly stubborn pony who will only see things in black and white,

Charity
A dead ringer for Saint Rarity's sister Sweetie Belle she is often mistaken by immortals to be somehow related to them. Starting out as a war-orphan she wondered the land, merely surviving in a world where life is cheap. She helped ponies wherever she could guided apparently by a ghostly white mare in her dreams and tormented by visions of a demonic pink mare. The order eventually encountered her as she intervened in a cult of Discord scheme that wanted a church full of clergy to be killed in the name of Discord.

By the proclamation of the arch-cleric Piety. Charity was dubbed a prophet of saint Rarity and the new element of generosity questing to find the other elements of harmony. As a young prophet she does have the power to command armies of the holy church of harmony but tends to prefer her independence, as she does not want anyone to be burdened by her load. As such she wonders the land, following visions and nightmares towards the other elements of harmony.

A very cool headed pony, albeit naive and generously trusting. Her purity of heart gives her a perspective that few can see, as she can easily find darkness in people's hearts and heal their ailment, or in many cases use her intuition to avoid danger. Driven by fate it almost seems that she is invulnerable but there is in fact nothing truly protecting her from death. However she is fearless and selfless to a fault and willing to do anything to save as many lives as she can.
