I have heard about the episode getting massive callbacks to previous episodes.

I do hope that it spells well for Mare Do Well.

I mainly ask because I feel that episode didn't exactly resolve on whether or not the parade for Mare Do Well had still continued or not.

But more importantly, I just found it a bit of a shame they had an well-designed persona of Mare-Do-Well that looks like it could've been popular like Daring Do and the Power Ponies, but sadly was not.

That's why I hope that either Mare-Do-Well identity is taken by someone like Red X from Teen Titans, an Mare Do Well brought to life by the Tree of Harmony for one reason or another, or even shown to be a franchise series that is set up as a charity by the Main Six (AlexWarlorn had this idea for his Pony POV series.)

And hopefully not as a throwaway gag. Especially NOT a mean-spirited one
