A while ago, I copied down a list put forward by the long-since departed and the missed Bad Seed 72 from Marius Sloannes. Marius discovered the season (e.g. winter and summer) each episode was set in. It appears that, at least according to his list, in Equestria spring follows summer.

I forgot what I was keying up this thread for.

Oh, I remembered. The list starts in high summer 1000 Celestia and Luna's Reign in series 1 to summer 1004 at the end of series 5.

Now, that the eighth series has ended, in your opinion, what is the current year and season in Equestria?

Assuming one season covers the time frame of approximately one year (though there are some discrepancies such as a sudden jump from Winter to Autumn across the course of a couple of episodes (assuming the episodes are all happening in chronological order)), I'd say the year would be somewhere around 1007 to 1009 of Celestia and Luna's reign.

Can't say much on the season since I'm not caught up to Season 8
