Welcome, my fellow bronies and pegasisters!!

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is the most successful cinematic universe of all time. With relatable and awesome characters, huge stakes, successful and profitable films, and of course, the multiverse, no film franchise has come close to copying the success of Kevin Fiege and crew. The MCU is the absolute King of the superhero genre, unparalleled, unquestionably, undeniably, awesome. Anyways, have you ever wanted to try to replicate the success of the Marvel movies with your MLP stories? Well look no further than the Interconnected Stories Association, a story group dedicated to stories that are all interconnected in some form or another, whether it be direct continuity, indirect mentions to prior stories, or unofficial sequels by other authors!

In this group, you are encouraged to post and promote your stories in threads under those guidelines. The rules are intentionally so few that y’all can just post away and have fun! Get your literary shared universe out there and aim for the moon! Reality can often be disappointing, but now it can be whatever you want. Your characters don’t have to be superheroes. They can be whatever you want them to be as long as their stories are connected in some form or another. I also encourage you to review others’ stories and don’t be afraid to promote your stories as much as you want. Do you want me to read your stories? Don’t be afraid to bug me about it as much as you want. Believe me, I love the attention.

I started this group because I’m making my own interconnected universe starting with my ‘Guardians of Harmony: A Friendship is Magic Retelling’ story, so feel free to check that out. It’ll initially follow the structure of the early DCEU, but gradually get more MCU-like in structure. I became curious as to how many other interconnected story universes are out there on this site, so I decided it’s time for y’all to come out of hiding and show me what you’ve all got! Don’t be shy. I don’t harshly judge stories based on their content. I’m just here to have a good time, so go ahead and throw anything at me.

Dos:
1. Post and promote any story or series of stories as long as they are connected in some way. Stories that are not connected in any way or are separate from each other will be politely asked to be removed for clutter’s sake.
2. Please shamelessly promote your stories as much as you’d all like! As I mentioned before, I love being bugged about reading stories as it gives me greater exposure to how other authors see this show and characters and I also love the attention in general.
3. Create threads to promote or review other authors’ stories. Putting reviews and promotions for others is a great way to help them grow, so that is strongly encouraged. You might get yourself a follow as well from that person, who knows?
4. Create threads to talk about the recent Marvel or DC movies. I know In General already does that, but it’s just so cool to talk about other stuff too while we talk about MLP as well. It adds variety.
5. Have fun and go wild! That is what this group is about.
6. Follow site rules. This group is not an independent website, unfortunately.

Don’ts:
1. Post any non-connected story. If I see a series of stories by the same author that are not connected in any shape or form, I may be inclined to ask them to explain their reasoning for posting first before issuing a removal request if I do not believe the reason holds up.
2. Attack other people. This should already be common knowledge in other groups. I do not tolerate flame wars as I have been in far too many in my lifetime defending my positive views on the Snyderverse. I don’t need more drama while I’m currently dealing with my own, thanks, and it’s also rude in general.
3. Don’t post non-MLP stories. I’m pretty sure this is also in Fimfiction’s rules, so even I can’t protect you from that, even if I wanted to. I hate seeing stories revoked for that reason, so just don’t do it. Save yourself the hassle of explaining yourself to admins.
4. Recklessly bash stories or authors in reviews. Only constructive criticism will be permitted here. Be kind and respectful or get out.

Thank you and welcome to the ISA!

Welcome to my story group!! I hope y’all have fun. I look forward to interacting with all of you. A quick edit to my original Dos, y’all can talk about Star Wars too if you like as I consider the Star Wars franchise a cinematic universe in its own right with how expansive it has become in recent years. Plus, I absolutely adore the franchise in general, soooooooooo…yeah. Enjoy and make some friends!
