To those of you who haven't heard. The movie was officially announced to be in development on February 17th 2021, and is set for release sometime in 2022.

So rejoice! Gumball will get the finale it deserves!

Three years really isn't that bad, considering the Covid situation. And there's plenty of other cartoon shows that got their proper endings after a much longer wait.
