5918029 If it was the latter, I'd have any Umbreon, I think. And I'm not a big fan of Umbreon. It's weak to the relatively common Fighting-type (a type I myself use often), has a rather basic design, and is just generally uninteresting.

I'd have to intentionally throw the third battle just to get the one I want, and I have too much pride for that, despite my love for Glaceon.

It's like certain quests in Pirate101; you can get a companion depending on your class, but only some classes get the reward, the other classes have to buy the companions from the crown shop. And they're not cheap. Why can't the Privateer be rewarded with Samocles? Why does it have to be restricted to Swashbucklers?
