What's your thoughts on forgiveness? In my opinion, if someone offers amends, then yes I will forgive them. (And seek forgiveness when I err.)

Then there are those who are, to be frank, appalling pieces of shit. You can be nice to them, try to forgive them, try to be kind. Then the day comes you realize that you need to either boot them out of your life or (if they present a physical threat) beat them to the ground.
