I watched Avatar in 3D for the 6th time in the theater (the other 5 times were in 2009 and 2010). It is still hands down, the best 3D-Movie. We have a problem of the Film-Industry _"*NOT*"_ investing in itself.

With Avatar, James Cameron made the movie in 3D. Watching the movie in 3D is like a vacation on Pandora, Moon of Polyphemus, Planet of Alpha Centauri A in the Alpha Centauri system. At best, the the industry gives us terrible 3D-Conversions.

In 2012, Peter Jackson made a the Hobbit in 3D and High Frame-Rate and 8K —— ¡even more realistic! —— but the Film-industry had a campaign against it. As streaming embraces 8K, 3D, and High Frame-Rate, the theaters will close if the Film-Industry does not invest in itself.
