Plot: In the Crystal War Rainbow Dash and her companions Pinkie Pie and Maud Pie get captured by a group of soldiers. They get in one of the prisoner camps, Slaughterhouse C. Here Rainbow Dash has to learn in the hard way that the image of the glorified, brave, victorious soldier, the war hero, is an illiusion from the civilists and has nothing at all to do with reality. Instead Rainbow realizes, that the life as a war prisoner is humiliating, exhausting and they are threated as if they have no dignity at all. Rainbow understands herself even better and has to come to terms with her damaged soul and her fears. Can she ever return from this camp as a normal pony? Or will her experiences have changed her forever? And what about her friends? How can they cope with this war scenario and the harsh reality? Will they probably face King Sombra or reunite with Celestia?
