Greetings:

Again, we're here. So, yeah.

This time there is Katakana Wars.

In recent years the anime had gained popularity not only for casual viewers. But had gathered a group of hardcore fans as well. As a side effect,a gateway was opened. not only the ideas of the authors with different points of view but also some of their culture. Because of this, the media has been a gateway to this interesting culture. And as a result, has interested people into learnighte language of their favorite characters. And is preety hard to say the least.

Learning japanese is not an easy task. Learning a new language is never easy but some are harder than others. First of all, it has a different root. This means that the rules used in english won't apply in most cases. Then there are the characters. As you n¿might noticed by the title of this post. The use the Katakana as a writing system. But this is only one of three ways of writing. The other tow are Kanji and Hiragana. And we are not taking into consideration caracters borrowed from chinese but that's another story.

So, in order to help people master this language (or at least allow them to start). The creators "Happy Duck" have already made Hiragana battle with a similar premise. We might not be suprised if in the future they complete the trilogy with kanji.

Anyway, the game as well as the prequel offer and RPG style gameplay where the enemies are the japanese characters. Yes, you are literaly fighting off letters. The goal is to translate your enemies in order to defeat them. Much like the typing of the dead minus the zombies.

So what do you think? Does it gained your attention? Why not check it out?

See you later.
