Many ponies fell under 3 main class: the Pegasus, the Unicorn, and the Earth Pony. For many a year since the establishment of Equestria, these pony races had agreed to work together and make harmony and peace as one would know. However, that didn't truly mean that everypony was appreciative with every race...

During one generation, a Mule leader by the name of ToraSensei, the descendent of the tribal leader, Chancellor Puddinghead, had grown up with some twisted beliefs, with his own evidence to support his claims. His exact beliefs were that the two opposing races: Pegesi and Unicorn, were more dangerous, and see Their kind as just working horses that serve under them like slaves. His evidence to support his claims mostly came from the acts before Equestria's establishment, as how Earth Ponies were blackmailed to give their food so their world was in control, and the ruling of King Sombra in the north, at the Crystal Empire after studying the history. His reasoning behind Pegesi mostly came from similar resources. His overall statement was that he believed Unicorns and Pegesi had too much control over the earth pony's world. The solution: eradication. That idea began what is now known as The Earthbound Act.

The earth ponies began their attacks on the other races, starting on the local unicorn settlements that lived within the area. Drove by ToraSensei and his beliefs, the earth ponies had forced many unicorns out of their homes, any opposed were brought into custody or killed on the spot. While cruel on the surface, the earth ponies saw it as showing power over the race. For the first few months, the Earthbound Act was strictly with the Earth Ponies and Unicorns, the Pegesi remaining neutral. Unicorns were treated with little to no respect, despite their magic, ToraSensei seeing it as rational.

The neutral behavior changed once a group of high-ranking Pegesi flew through the area, and were shot down from the sky. This act of cold violence got the Pegesi involved with the act, and started their attacks on ToraSensei and his army. With the Pegesi, there was a deeper trouble for the act on the Earth Ponies side, as the Unicorns had an ally for the time. While battle was beginning to get serious, ToraSensei then made a deadly turning point once he discovered the Arial town, Cloudsdale. Sending troops expertise in artillery, the earth pony soldiers invaded Cloudsdale. Since Cloudsdale wasn't deeply involved with ground events, they weren't prepared for the assault, resulting in hundreds dead and/or captured. This part of the Earthbound Act became known as the Cloudsdale Massacre.

Since the Massacre, both Unicorns and Pegesi became scared of the attacking Earth Pony army, costing many lives of Unicorn and Pegesi alike. The act itself lasted for two years full, until finally ToraSensei had been assassinated. Without their leader, the Earth Ponies surrendered to the other races, signing a peace treaty with the other two to maintain peace again.
