1-This is a civil group, cussing is allowed and edgy behavior is accepted so long as it doesn't become annoying. Funny innuendos are funny BUT REPEATED CREEPING ON ANOTHER PC WILL RESULT IS ROCKS FALL YOU DIE!!!!

2-For the most part the RP is text based, use your imagination and be creative in your posts, don't be afraid to be awesome. Unless the RP specifically states it, Mary Sue's will be given the no save vs rocks treatment at the discretion of the thread host. If you feel the host was unfair in deploying rocks, consult a group admin for Deus ex Machina. However if we feel it was deserved then no action will be taken and you be expected to under go training with myself.

3-To reiterate the above, this is a txt base RP. We only use dice rolls where we think it appropriate to the plot or for drama. If the host tells you to roll a dice, roll the dice.
Pro-tip: When posting fight scenes, unless the Host has said that the enemy you are fighting is significantly weaker than you and thus is no challenge, leave the scene with room for change.

EXAMPLE POST>BAD
McFly dropped the anvil on the griffon from the second story window crushing him.

EXAMPLE POST>GOOD
McFly heaved, pushing the heavy anvil from the second story window, sending it hurtling towards the griffon.

The bad post preforms the action and assumes it is a success, the good post leaves the Host room for the griffon to doge or be mashed into paste. Remember, you are the player, you are not the Host.

4-To Hosts, if your player makes the effort to leave open ended posts, reward them. You don't necessarily have to let them succeed but as per in the above example, don't just have the griffon dodge. Doing so only makes the poster feel as if you are using your executive powers over the narrative to spite them. Perhaps the anvil hit the griffon on the wing and now he can not fly or broke his shoulder, make it have an actual impact on the story.

5-KEEP POWER LEVELS CONSTANT! When you make a character, for the love of god, have a ready idea of it's strengths and weaknesses and stick to them. Discuss it before hand with the Host if you can and add serious flaws to make up for serious strengths. And by weakness I don't refer to fact they have a crippling fear of losing that drives them on or a weak knee that crops up when appropriate, give them an actual weakness, an Achilles heel the Host can exploit when you're getting too cocky.

For example you make a unicorn who is balls to the wall tough and is a CQC beatstick, as result nearly any opponent who uses a physical fighting style is dust in the wind when facing this fearsome warrior of awesome might. As a counter have him be weak as balls to any significant fighter who make extensive use of magic and/or ranged.

Talk things over with the Host so that together you can both be happy with the character. No one wants a Mary Sue, but no one wants a kobold either.

Obviously good grammar and spelling are required, if you are bad, improve. Typing under a time limit can be stressful so typos and minor mistakes are expected to be given leeway by the host. Any post over 10 minutes between postings will be expected to be able to be read without inducing migraines.

Failure will result in you being contacted by an admin. Repeated bad grammar and spelling after admin contact will result in banning.

Any further questions or wanting help with any matter please to don't hesitate to PM me.
