Episode Pilot:
Yeah, after re-watching that pilot and seeing the "joyboy" covering his dad's face, I can safely say that my theory is supported by evidence.
In the actual episodes we will hardly ever see Button's dad, and when we do, we will only see him from Button's perspective, that is from neck down.

To my knowgledge Jan isn´t planning on showing Button´s dad on the episodes ever....unless people highly and I mean HIGHLY request him you wont get to see him, only one I can garantee you´ll see is Button´s Brother (name which I am not allowed to reveal). Jan already made a puppet of him and is ready to be used.
