As the duo plummet towards him Blue waits until they are inside his swing arc, and as the enter his great-sword flashes across, the griffons ripping apart as the empowered steel carves through their forms.

"Any surviving Guard would either pull back to the castle or move out to the urban centers where the griffins would have a harder time fighting in the closed streets. I'd try the market quarter, it's familiar enough to move around in and everyone would know where it is allowing for the survivors to split up, but also crowed with enough buildings to make it defensible, plus it's not too far from the castle so it can be reinforced and would be protected from physical damage making hellfire pointless. The griffins would have to go into the buildings where they can't use their superior numbers or wings. I'd say that this group here was a splinter group heading for the markets."

Tossing up a quick spell on one of the carts that happens to have a dead griffon on it and placing a stone that projects the image of Star in the middle of casting he sends it roaring off in the opposite direction. The stone's secondary enchantment will kick in when the illusion is hit. "Alright then. I'm ready to go." He ponders about the body being carried but figures the others will explain it themselves soon enough.

*reappear* Two griffins spin around, raising their weapons as Blue appears behind them only to be bowled over as he runs past. As they begin to give chase after him Blue disappears again.
*reappear* A door crashes open as Blue charges through the building, starling a flock of griffins who were busy enjoying a fine meal. Letting loose a screech the lead griffin tries to order his troops to attack the lone stallion only to have the wind take out of him as Blue charges straight into him, then through the wall behind him. As the flock hurriedly pick their flattened leader off the ground Blue Blinks again.
*reappear* Landing outside the hospital this time Blue charges through the front doors and up the stair case, blinking onto the landings as he skips the stairs themselves before burst out onto the floor Dim was located on. Sprinting down the hall, trampling another three griffins on his way, Blue slides to a stop outside Dim's room, before breaking the door down.

Raging walked was near the library when the griffins attacked, she cursed when she saw that they were using hellfire. Hey! They took my job, well might as well try to search the others. Since she had no idea where to go, she choose the only logical choice that came to her mind, the castle. She tried to be as sneaky as possible but with the number of griffins, it was almost impossible. By the time she was near the castle, she had a few injury, and around twenty citizens with her.
"We are almost here, I hope that the castle is still safe."
