What if I told you that there was a book with two characters who are very similar to TwiTavia?

The two main characters of Perdido Street Station, Isaac and Lin, really remind me of Twilight Sparkle Dusk Shine and Octavia. Though while they feel similar, they aren't actually carbon copies of each other. Lin is a sculptor instead of a cello player, and Isaac is more of a scientist than Twilight.

Granted, I've only read the first part, but I'm loving it so far.
