Mine is John Bonham from Led Zeppelin. John freaking Bonham. The one who popularized the bass drum triplet (good times bad times) variations and played a mean shuffle beat (fool in the rain) to name his more famous works. Of course there is his technical proficiency and his innovative variations which spiced up boring 4/4 beats and his legendary, immediately identifiable sound.

So who's/who're yours? Don't be restricted to classic rock drummers and go ahead and list contemporary drummers, since it's always nice to expand your musical horizons.
