Suttee, for those who don't know it, is that when someone dies, their loved one is burnt on the pyre with them or if burial is practised instead, buried alive in the same grave with them. I can imagine a dead Silver Spoon on a pyre heaped with grave goods-and a bound, muzzled Diamond Tiara placed alongside her to be sent to the afterlife with her.

Would anypony want to read such a horribly grimdark fic?
