I've started up a new story, it's kind of about the Cakes, at least in the general sprawling-family-history sense of things. Pinkie Pie is almost certainly related in some fashion to the Cakes, or at least, that's common fan theory. I figure that Cup Cake and Pinkie are first cousins, once removed - especially once you take into account Pinkie's 'Nana Pinkie' knows enough about Everfree lore to have almost certainly grown up in Ponyville.

So, that's a story. How Pink Cherry Loaf left Ponyville, changed her name to Pink Rock, and married into a Rock Valley family. And how one of her daughters ended up marrying that alicorns-damned Pie boy.
