Name:
Nerine Truth

Species/Race:
Pegasus Pony

Appearance:
Nerine possessed nothing in the way of a subtle hue with regards to her appearance. Every inch of her was vibrant and colorful, like a flower in bloom.
Nerine possessed soulful Cyan eyes soft as a flower petal's which always sought to heal what was broken and yet held a glint of adamant stubbornness hidden in their depths. Her pelt was a vivacious, but not obnoxious, color of rose and her hooves a soft cream. Those eyes didn't just look at, they looked into you, and saw your heart. Your pain. Her expression was always caring, often concerned, and sometimes sorrowful, but she always took it all.
Nerine's hair was the most interesting aspect of her color scheme, however, as they were a mixture of amethyst and cherise that faded and danced amidst each other in the most beautiful way. All in all, her color scheme proved remarkably alike to that of the flower, the nerine, for which she is named. She even smelt of the flower... but no more.

Talent, cutie mark:
Empathy, kindness, and comforting aside, Nerine's actual gift was the ability to see how people truly feel. It was as much of a curse as it was a blessing at times, but she managed.
Nerine Truth's Cutie Mark was fittingly the outline of the flower for which she was named, or rather a glass depiction of it.

Skill(s) in magic:
While Nerine possessed an average skill flight capacity (which is the typical pegasai channel for their innate magic), the actual 'magical' gift she possessed was the ability to detect the true feelings, possibly the true heart, of what she looked at she looked at. It is unknown how she did it, but she herself described it as "Looking at everything as if the tinted glasses of the world weren't on her face."

Items:
As she roamed with Genesis, Nerine was never without saddlebags of traveling gear stocked with all the standard equipment she'd need. Aside from that though, she carried little as would befit a pegasus.

History:
To be added.

Status:
Unconfirmed dead (They couldn't find any remains, just blood and a couple feathers). Formerly Genesis Writ's only childhood friend and traveling companion. Daughter of a flower merchant and a doctor who are currently unnamed.

Attitude:
Empathy is the first word one comes to think about when people talk about Nerine. For that was her most core emotion. She wept with those that wept and laughed with those that laughed. Simply being around her was like a balm to the soul.
She always saw the good in ponies and wanted to comfort them when they hurt. She was stubborn and loyal to a fault, to the point of leaving her village to travel with Genesis Writ because he needed her, even if he didn't admit it himself. Despite that, she was fragile, and could have her feelings hurt relatively easily when her attempts to comfort someone were disdained.
That was actually a bit of a quirk to her personality, as she possessed a hidden thread of iron in her heart that she could tap at will, making her utterly impossible to refuse. She was stubborn and loyal to a fault, she just revealed it in a different way than most would expect.
