Appearance:
It is believed that Skin Cloak's coat was once a luxurious cream, but the truth of that is uncertain. After the discovery of his cutie mark, he began to experiment on himself, learning how to cut only the skin and how to sow it back together. The end result of this is that he became crisscrossed with a veritable cornucopia of ugly, wiry stitches and scars which ended up accenting his cutie mark in a disturbing manner.
Skin Cloak is, or rather, WAS, an exceptionally handsome earth pony stallion with a mussy brown mane and tail lit by a pale red streak.
His eyes are a cyan shade that seem... almost twisted, and in the right light they reflect a malign intent. This is something well concealed by his glasses tinted the same shade as the red streak in his hair, however, which he almost always keeps on. He wears a black-banded watch on his right forehoof.

Talent, cutie mark:
Skin Cloak's talent is in surgery, the use of a knife, dissection, vivisection, and generally things related to cutting from a medical standpoint. However, his perverted enjoyment of using his skills turned what was once a valuable medical skill drove him to leave the royal guard, where he worked as a field medic, to join Compound Fracture on a slaving crew.
His cutie mark is a wicked, almost flawlessly realistic wound tied partially closed with stitches.

Skill(s) in magic:
Skin Cloak's innate magical skill is directed, unlike most earth ponies, into his dexterity. He is capable of manipulating a knife as easily as a griffon or dragon with his hooves alone, and this combined with his knowledge of anatomy and his second passive magical trait, the ability to discern an individual's internal biology simply by looking at them, makes him utterly terrifying in combat and in the operating room alike.

Items:
Skin Cloak, by nature of his profession, is almost always found with a knife on his person, and medical equipment within 40 feet. In addition to these things, he is never found without his red-tinted spectacles and his watch. He has a travelling cloak, but seems to lack any use for it perhaps as a result of the experiments he performed on his body.

Attitude:
A sadistic but efficient fiend, Skin Cloak's typical disposition is gloomy and even eerie. He LOVES to cut things up, and will often make jokes about this. This creepiness pales in comparison to the persona he adopts when he actually GETS to use his skills, however, as his gloom transforms into an even more terrible glee and calculating precision. He will often taunt and psychologically torment his patients on the operating table, and sadistically torture anyone unlucky enough to become a subject of his vivisection, and the same glee can be found while he is dissecting things.
Plain and simple, he just LOVES to cut things up. The despair and screams are just extra.

Skin Cloak is the pony believed responsible for the death of Nerine Truth, and the brutal murder and vivisection of a currently unknown number of ponies and a royal guardsman.
