Mark's name and origin

I originally created Mark Atlas to be an OC designed for RP purposes. I had spent a long time thinking of ideas for what I wanted my main OC to be. I got the idea for him to be an explorer and cartographer because of my love for video games. I'm not a speedrunner, but a completionist. I like to explore every inch of content a game has to offer.

The name Mark Atlas was decided because it fits what he does, and becaise it actually is a name that can belong to a real person. Mark's father is named Pen, also a real first name, albeit less common, and he has a job in legal documentation. Mark's mother is named Saga, which is a European name that comes from the norse goddess of storytelling, and that fits her because she's a fiction writer.

This way, Mark's whole family has a name that perfectly fits them, and has one that can feasibly belong to a real person. It all works perfectly.
