A totally brilliant group project idea (Writers, Voice actors and Artists welcome; no need for extensive experience!)

Hiya, Zak here, also known as The_0b5erver but hopefully you've figured that out. If not, then well, I can't really guarantee your IQ will remain at it's current level by the time you get to the bottom of this page.

Anyhow, onto the topic of today's post:

    Soooo... Writing, amirite lads?

Hiya, Zak here, also known as The_0b5erver but hopefully you've figured that out. If not, then well, congratulations: you only get to experience my writing for the first time once, and you just so happen to have that opportunity! (I am making the assumption here that you're a new visitor to my profile. If that's not the case and you really didn't figure that out, quickly go back, read through all

Hey so, want your opinion on a couple ideas I have in relation to YouTube

Hiya, Zak here, also known as The_0b5erver, but hopefully you've figured that out. If not, then well, it's not such a big deal for today's blog. Yeah, I know, I don't say this very often; don't get worried though, we'll get right back to the usual comedic endings in the next entry of Zak's blogzzare adventures.

Alright, another update (which is technically the first, but shhh... No need for technicalities)

Hiya, Zak here, also known as The_0b5erver but hopefully you've figured that out. If not, then well, I have no idea what you're doing reading the second blog post from me.

Anyhow, onto the topic of this post:

    "Zak, where is the content?"

Hiya, Zak here, also known as The_0b5erver but hopefully you've figured that out. If not, then well, congratulations: you only get to experience my writing for the first time once, and you just so happen to have that opportunity! (I am making the assumption here that you're a new visitor to my profile. If that's not the case and you really didn't figure that out, quickly go back, read through all my blogposts to get caught up on the lore, and come back as a certified 0b5erver professional.)

Anyhow, onto the topic of today's post:

"Where have you been?"
"Are the projects cancelled?"
"If OPCEA is supposed to be a meme project, why does it outperform the one you took seriously?"
"How come every time you promise an increase in chapter releases, the wait time gets longer instead?"

WOAH, WOAH HO-HO, BUDDY! SLOW DOWN!

Now yes, I am a pineapple that doesn't posess any planning abilities (and has comittment issues, but more about that later), you got that right. I expected this year to start of slow, allowing me a lot of time to write to my heart's content, finish off OPCEA and take a break to do real world stuff while I plan out later projects, but it has unfortunately been the opposite of that. I've done pretty much everything except writing:

Fencing with the government over a bunch of papers? Check.

Freezing half to death because of new accomodation that isn't furnished and has terrible insulation? Check.

Ordering a piano (out of all things) from a shady online store without properly knowing the adress where it's supposed to go while a person stands over my shoulder going "Don't worry, it's just three years of my savings in your hands right now"? That's a big fat check.

The point is, I haven't been having that grand of a time as far as my main daily attractions go.

Now, onto the second question - Are the projects cancelled?

Hell. No.

As a matter of fact, even though I didn't get to do any writing, I did do some worldbuilding and have finally decided on the name of the universe in which OPCEA is taking place! Come on, isn't this exciting?! Oh, right, the popularity of that story hasn't been a thing for a couple of months now... Ah well, I know at least one person favourited the story in recent time (and one went and disliked both my stories - shoutout for ya mate), so I'll still reveal it since someone must be interested:

The name I've decided on is "Otboy". Now, I hear you asking yourself,

"Zak, what the [REDACTED] is an Otboy? Is it a subset of the Tomboy? if so, where can I see it in it's natural habitat?"

Sorry to disappoint you, it has no connection to Tomboys. It is the name of the event that caused the human world to devolve into the dystopian state it is in during the start of OPCEA. Once I have some momentum going again, I will start to post short worldbuilding posts to expand on it, so keep an eye out if you're into that kind of stuff (or if you feel like writing a story taking place in this world yourself - my work is open source, yo).

This discussion about the Otboy universe leads us nicely into the next question:

If OPCEA is a meme project, why does it outperform the later one which is supposed to be better?

Well, first of all, it sort of, kinda not a meme project anymore, as I really had it grow on me. OPCEA may not be my most logical piece of writing, but it is one I love dearly and will continue work on. Maybe if the future installments do well, I could even re-write it to fit the bill. Ah well, an idea for the futre.

As for why it outperforms L5 into R3 deceptive; maybe it's the fact that I tried to improve. Maybe the characters are too typical, or the premise is too tailored. I must admit that I myself am not too happy about how it turned out in the end, so a re-write is most likely in store for it.

This is the place where I should say, your, yes YOUR feedback is absolutely invaluable in making my stories better. A dislike doesn't tell me anything about what I need to improve, so a simple message, no matter how crude, would do wonders in guiding me towards creating a better experience for the both of us.

Now, time for the last question, which I am not going to list so if you want to read it, you'll have to scroll back to top and come back down, glancing over this text once more. Repetition is the mother of learning, my friend, and I want you to be a proper scholar and analyse my philosophical writing in detail.

A: The truth is, it's a mix of unfortunate circumstance and the biggest negative trait I have - Extreme struggle with commitment. I technically could have written a chapter, bit by bit, no matter how slow, but I could have. However I didn't, and this is totally on me. If you are really passionate about my work, and are waiting on the edge of your seat for each chapter: I'm sorry. I've let you down.

Realising my mistake on it's own, however, does nothing, so I will be proposing a plan of action: I will work my hardest to release a chapter each week. If I can do more - good, but I will not do less. This time it's for real, I am sorted with moving, with university application and with anything else that would take up all my free time, so it's time to return to doing what I love.

And on this epic note, we wrap up for the post today. If you have any thoughts on anything said here/any of my work/writing in general/you just stumbled onto this and went "Oh boy, this guy sounds chill, I'd wanna chat with him", now's your chance: drop a comment down below and I will be sure to respond. Regardless of whether you write to me or not, have yourself a superb day - maybe go out and get a treat, you deserve it.
