Biography:
Alongside his friend and dragon partner Sparky Sparkeroni, Zipp traveled the galaxy committing crimes and collecting bounties until he met Sunny Starscout (a.k.a Star-Lady), who convinced them to help her sell an item called "The Orb" to get a big reward.
However, when the item, which was wanted by the villain "Ronan the Accuser", was found to contain the Power Stone, Zipp was convinced to risk everything to stop Ronan's plan to use the Stone to destroy Planet Xandar.
During the ensuing conflict, Rocket was able to help his friends destroy Ronan, despite Sparky sacrificing his original body. Later, she became an official member of the superhero group known as "The Guardians of the Galaxy", along with Sparky, who gradually regenerated her body.
Months later, Zipp and the Guardians when they were hired by "The Sovereigns" to kill a creature called "The Abilisk". However, she took advantage of the job to steal some Anulax Batteries with the intention of selling them later.
This act angered the Sovereigns, causing them to declare war on the Guardians and hire Alphabitte to capture them.
She and a baby Sparky were captured by the villainous Taserface, forcing them to work alongside Alphabitte to escape and kill Taserface.
During her time with Alphabitte, Zipp learned how to be someone better and decided to save the Guardians during her battle against a Celestial known as Ega, who was Sunny's biological mother.
