Hotel Z is in the most ideal location. It is located in the heart of the Gaslamp district. There are many choices for good food and beverages right outside the hotel. Petco Park is only a few blocks from the hotel if you want to catch the San Diego Padres games.

HOW TO GET TO HOTEL Z

You can get to Hotel Z from the airport by renting a car, or taking a ride-share if you fly into San Diego International Airport. It takes only 12 minutes.

SOME HIGHLIGHTS FROM HOTEL Z : THE HOTEL

You can see the Z from far away in this cute hotel, which is yellow-blue-painted. When I was walking through San Diego, the Z would always be at the end. There are some great features in the lobby: Staypineapple is dog-friendly, so they have a table near the elevator with all of the dog names written on a chalkboard. You can also rent bikes for free to quickly move around San Diego. You can also lock your bike if you need to park it and go for a bite to eat. Each hotel room has a unique scene painted on the doors.

The room was very large and I could enjoy my morning coffee with a cute pineapple mug every morning. A mini fridge is available for food leftovers and to keep drinks chilled. There's also a small microwave.

THE STAFF

The staff was amazing. We were able to check in early because everyone was so friendly. They gifted a bottle wine and chocolates to my friend for her birthday. Alan made our stay extra special.

Renting a car is necessary if you want to travel outside of San Diego. You can use rideshare, walk, or rent an electric scooter to get around Hotel Z.
