commissions?

i'm considering starting writing commissions, mainly since i'm on disability watch (my own personal term i guess) and i'm not able to see a doctor until august (in fact, it's only a week or so before i'm supposed to move into my apartment for school this coming year). the last couple years when i worked in person part time i was still in pain, but i was never able to bring myself to accept that since i didn't want to be seen as a burden or potentially accused of faking for brownie points or whatever. i'm starting doing some freelancing stuff, and my first article is in the queue to be approved where i'm an active contributor, but in case that doesn't work i may need to figure something else out. my worry is that my writing isn't worth selling, and that sometimes i fear that adding money into the equation takes away creative capabilities, but since i'm in this really weird pinch i think i may not really have much of a choice.
