A Celebration and Defense of the Star Wars Special Editions · 1:15am May 26th, 2022
Today is the REAL Star wars day: May 25th. May the 4th should not be considered Star Wars day because it's based on a pun rather than a date relevant to Star Wars history. May 25th is the day Star Wars debuted and thus should be considered the real Star Wars day.
I intended to celebrate the day by publishing a retrospective, celebration, and defense on the needlessly controversial Special Editions released 25 years ago this year...
...but since Dad went down with his stroke, I've lost the nerve and energy to write such a piece. I'll get around to doing that eventually, so I encourage you to check back here occasionally to see it published here.
I also intend to publish a retrospective, celebration, and defense of Batman & Robin, celebrating it's 25th anniversary this year. My projected release date: June 20th. Believe me, you not going to want to miss this. It would be very cold* of you to do so.
May The Force be with you.
*Had to do an ice pun in there. I'm not sorry.
