Greetings, everyone! This is Mr. J back with more The Owl House content! This evening, I will be reviewing the seventh episode of the series entitled: “Lost in Language”. I thought that this was quite another fun episode that teaches a lesson about being aware that your actions have consequences, especially if you’re hanging around with troublemakers. In this case, we are introduced to Amity’s older siblings who are Emira and Edric Blight respectively.

If I were to give my personal opinion on these two characters, I would say that they are honestly entertaining at best but mediocre at worst. I don’t find them to be annoying per say, but they hardly stand out apart from each other in terms of personality. The only twin who somewhat has a personality would be Edric since he has some sort of... I dunno... fetish for snowballs and is kinda a goofball? In whatever case, they’re far from being my favorite characters. Still, I hope to see them in future episodes during the later half of season 2 to get some actual character development.

Though I will admit that their character designs are a bit impressive, I’ll give the animators that. Plus, their voice performers were pretty good (Erica Lindbeck for Emira and Ryan O’Flanagan for Edric).

The interactions between the twins and Luz were fairly fun to watch, the character development was solid, seeing Luz talking more with Amity and the latter getting more familiar with the former was quite intriguing, and the voice acting was still top-notch.

I gotta say that as the season progresses, things get more spicy and more interesting. I give this episode a B+, and I would definitely recommend this episode.

Peace out!

P.S. Hello, 2022!!! Do not disappoint!!!
